Manchester City on Saturday emerged winners of the FA Cup after hammering Watford 6-0 at Wembley Stadium.
The 138th FA Cup Final saw Pep Guardiola’s men lift their third domestic trophy of the 2018/19 season, they were beautiful and brutal in equal measure.
Goals from David Silva, Raheem Sterling (at least twice!), Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus – was all City needed to add the trophy to the Premier League title and the Carabao Cup win.
David Silva scored his first goal since the end of December 26 minutes into the game to give City the lead. Sterling noded a loose ball down to Silva in the box. The City legend took a left-footed shot which wrong-foots Gomes and rolls into the net.

12 minutes on, City grabbed a second. Bernardo Silva curled in a fantastic ball for Jesus at the back post. Jesus knocks the ball past the onrushing Gomes, and Sterling thrashed the ball into the net.

61 minutes on, City find themselves two-on-one. Jesus lays off for De Bruyne who stops, leaves Gomes in the dust, and coolly rolls the ball into the net.
7 minutes later, Gabriel Jesus made it 4-0 for City. Just like De Bruyne’s goal, Watford’s defensive line was way too high and City punish them by winning the second ball. De Bruyne feeds in Jesus who dummies then slides the ball past Gomes.
81 on the clock, City scored to make it 5-0. Bernardo Silva rolled the ball to Sterling at the far post who thrashed the ball high past Gomes into the net.
6 minutes later Sterling grabbed a second to make the scoreline 6-0. Bernardo Silva found De Bruyne wide right, the Belgian fizzes in a low cross and Sterling sweeps the ball across Gomes into the far corner.
