Manchester City had to come from a goal down to clinch an impressive 3-1 victory over Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium.
After City’s early tussle and control of the game it was star man Jamie Vardy who got the first goal for Leicester City in the 22nd minute, Barnes was quick to find the goal poacher on the run beating Fernandinho and lobbing the ball over onrushing Ederson.
Former Leicester star, Riyad Mahrez then got the equalizer for City in the 30th minute as he worked the ball into his favourite foot and glanced a shot that deflected in between Soyuncu’s legs and into the back of the net.
City completed the first half comeback in the 43rd minutes after a quick counter led to Ricardo Perriera tripping Raheem Sterling in the box and conceding a penalty which İlkay Gundogan made no mistake in converting.
Gabriel Jesus made it 3-1 to the good following Kevin De Bruyne’s impressive run into the Leicester 18 yard box as his low driven shot found the Brazilian and also the back of the net.
