Manchester United finalised their pre-season campaign by beating Ac Milan on penalties in their last Internaltional Champions Cup match.
Fourteen minutes into the game, Marcus Rashford opened scoring for the Red Devils in the game played at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff.
Milan found an equalizer twelve minutes later, after Suso sent a beautiful curler from outside the box past David De Gea in goal.
Second half brought more goals to the game as Ac Milan went ahead thanks to a Victor Lindelof own goal.
The Milan side played their corner kick short, and the resulting cross which was also touched by Samu Castillejo brushed Lindelof’s head before beating a helpless De Gea in goal.
Jesse lingard however came from the bench to ensure the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer led side didn’t lose out in the game — thereby sending the match to penalties.
Manchester United secured a 5-4 victory on penalties after Daniel James, Angel Gomez, Greenwood, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard all converted from the penalty spot.
United end their pre-season on a high, after making it six out of six beating Perth Glory, Leeds United, Inter Milan, Tottenham, Kristiansund and Ac Milan.
