Ross Barkley levelled for the Blues with a world class free-kick with just 22 minutes into the game. Quite an unstoppable free-kick from the English man that goes up and over the wall into the left-side of the goal.
42 minutes on, Kenedy scored a wity and fantastic screamer to turn around the score after. The Brazilian strikes from 25 yard to give Chelsea a 2-1 lead.
50 minutes on the clock, a poor defending from Chelsea leaves Michael Morrison to slot home from close range to restore Reading back into the game as he was unmarked during a corner.
7 minutes later, Mount restored the lead for the Blues. The English man scored his second of this Pre-Season to put Chelsea ahead again.
Mason Mount was at it again to grab a second 59 minutes on to extend Chelsea’s lead after a dreadful clearance from Sam Walker. A poor mistake by the goalkeeper.
The goals continued to come at the Madejski as Sam Baldock reduced the deficit for Reading in 70th minute to make the scoreline 4-3.
But wasn’t enough as Frank Lampard and his men escaped with the slim victory
