Mikel Arteta’s side secured a 4-0 win over Norwich City during their Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Thanks to goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Granit Xhaka and Cédric Soares
The Gunners were comfortably on top during the first half, although it took a horrible error by Krul for Aubameyang to open the scoring and his 50th Premier League goal.
Xhaka doubled the home side’s lead shortly after as he slipped into the box to find the bottom left corner from Aubameyang’s cut-back.
Aubameyang then doubled his tally of the game with another gift from Norwich. Drmic played a blind pass and lost possession. Aubameyang capitalised, rolling a shot into the bottom left corner.
Moments later, new man – Cedric Soares marks his debut with a goal for the Gunners after a corner comes in and Norwich failed to fully clear it. Soares fires towards goal and it takes a slight deflection to guide it past Krul and into the net.
Norwich showed a few promising signs but couldn’t get back to the game as they still remain buttom of the table.
They can now count the days before they’re back in the Championship.
