Liverpool took a 1-0 lead into half-time against Arsenal thanks to Matip’s header 41 minutes in. The centre-back got on the end of Alexander-Arnold’s corner to edge his side in front.
4 minutes into second half, Salah made it 2-0 for Liverpool from spot kick. As close to the perfect penalty as you will see as Salah placed the ball in the top-left corner of the goal, sending Leno the opposite way in the process.
58 minutes on, Salah doubled his tally for the Red to make the scoreline 3-0. The Egyptian knocked the ball past David Luiz as though he was not there and Monreal was unable to make up the ground to cover. He forward keeps his cool when one-on-one with Leno, bending the ball out of the Arsenal keeper’s reach.
5 minutes to stoppage time, Arsenal made sure no clean sheets for Liverpool this season as Torreira pulled one back for Arsenal. Aubameyang carries the ball inside and lays it off for Torreira. His first shot was blocked by Henderson but his second was placed far enough away from Adrian to find the back of the net.
A poor performance from former Chelsea defender, David Luiz cost the Gunners as he hand in Liverpool all three points.
