According to reports, Dr Anunobi, a psychiatrist, performed this heroic act when she went out on a tea break with her colleagues since she was on duty that very day. It was said that she saved the life of a man who was seen choking to death at the restaurant where she went to eat.
Anuobi came to the aid of the dying man by first performing the hymen maneuver and then followed through by administering first aid to him after clearing the blockage. She stayed with the patient until paramedic arrived on the scene and the patient was then taken to the hospital.
This justifies the saying that goes ‘not all heroes wear cape’.
