North London Derby: Harry Kane scores to deny Arsenal victory
Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot after a foul by Mustafi to deny their bitter rival, Arsenal victory during North London derby clash as it all ended 1-1 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday
The man who loves playing at Wembley – Aaron Ramsey fired the Gunners ahead as Spurs committed too many bodies forward and were caught out on the counter.
Lacazette released Ramsey following a poor defensive header from Sanchez and the Juventus-bound midfielder kept his cool by holding off Wanyama, rounding Lloris and rolling the ball over the line.
73 minutes on the clock, Kane gets between Koscielny and Mustafi while trying to meet the end of a free-kick floated into the box. Mustafi makes contact with the Spurs striker and the referee, Anthony Taylor points to the penalty spot.
The England forward stepped forward and send the ball the opposite direction to level scores.
Spurs will battle Southampton next on Saturday 9th March at St. Mary’s Stadium while the Gunners will face Manchester United on Sunday 10th March at the Emirates Stadium.
