The “Pride of Rivers” – Rivers United are back to winning ways as the Stanley Eguma side secured a 3-1 win over Heartland FC during their Nigerian Professional Football League game at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
After their defeat to Wikki Tourist, the Wike boys are back on top as they secured all 3 points against the Owerri Boys on Sunday.
With just 16 minutes into the game, the Wike boys were handed a penalty.

13 minutes later, Shedrack Oghal sends a low driven shot into the back of the net to pull one back for the Visitors.
It was a quick one from a free kick as Samuel Nnoshiri provided the assist to make the scoreline 2-1.
85 minutes on, Rivers United doubled thier lead again with a quick one from a free kick by Bobby Clement to put a plate to Malachi Ohawume who guides home the third to secure the win.
