One pastor Samuel Egbo, was on Tuesday arrested by the Enugu State Police Command, for being in possession of a small coffin, multiple female pants and braziers.
Egbo who is the General Overseer and founder of Christ Mercy Ministry, Ajuonu, Obukpa, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, is currently in the custody of the police after some suspicious items were found in his house.
According to reports, the police raid that happened at his house came after the pastor was said to have allegedly raped a female member who had come for prayers. The development led to his arrest and subsequent recovery of the items.
When speaking to the press, Egbo explained that he got coffin and other items from a witch doctor in Kogi State, in the aims of making money.
The pastor admitted to raping the female member and also said,
“I paid the native doctor N200,000, to get the coffin and the flute. He told me to do certain things, after which I will get a Ghana-Must-Go bag full of money in my room.
“But after two weeks, the money did not come as the native doctor told me.”
The state police have promised that justice will take a full course on the case.
