General Manager, Services, PHED, Mrs. Ochuko Amah who represented the Chief Executive Officer of PHED at the launch ceremony, said the new call centre is geared towards enhancing the company’s customer service delivery.
She said customers no longer need to be physically present at PHED offices to lodge complaints and have them addressed.
“This is an all-important project as it gears towards enhancing our customer service delivery. We are bent on achieving the feat of being the number one electricity distribution company in Nigeria and we will not relent in trying to achieve it. We know, of course that the way to go is to ensure that we continue to better our service delivery with each passing day.”
She added that;
“Today we are telling our esteemed customers that you really do not have to come physically to get your issues resolved, from payment transactions to complaints of whatever magnitude, we have it sorted out in just this small room from the comfort of your homes and offices.”
Amah also disclosed that the company in collaboration with the Transmission Company of Nigeria and the Rivers State Ministry of Power on Sunday commissioned a 60MVA Transformer at Rumuosi Transmission Station to enable the evacuation of 48 Mega Watts of energy to the Rumuolumeni axis stretching all the way to Kalabari.
