We will not forget in a hurry the retaliation some Nigerian youths did on Shoprite in protest of the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. Well, the law seems to have caught up with them.

Following the condemnation of the looting of Shoprite outlets in Lagos, the Nigeria police, Shangotedo branch has finally arrested the looters and had them paraded after their arrest.
The suspects were all involved in the attack on the South African brand in a reprisal following the recent xenophobic attack in South Africa.
In a statement made by Mr. Gbolahan Olugbemi, the Area Commander of Shangotedo, he stated that a total of 125 suspects have been arrested in connection with the looting of Shoprite with 90% of the stolen goods recovered.
Reports have it that the police have charged 112 persons who were found in possession of the looted items. They are expected to be arraigned soon but the police did not give a specific date yet.
