Rashford’s goal gave Manchester United a 1-0 lead over Crystal Palace at the break.
It took them 46 minutes to register their first shot on target as Rashford got away from three Palace defenders before coolly slotting the ball into the net.
Palace created the better chances, but Zaha, Milivojevic and Ayew were all denied by De Gea.
United doubled their lead 78 minutes on, Martial wasn’t picked up by Dann as he drifts in from the left to get onto Rashford’s pass. He takes a touch before poking the ball past Guaita and into the far-bottom corner.
United are now level on points with Leicester City who sit above them in fourth place and keep the pressure on for a Champions League place.
Palace’s losing run continues and they’re now without a win in six. Next up for them is a trip to face Wolves on Monday.
