Real Madrid has reportedly negotiated and agreed a deal with German Bundesliga outfit, Eintracht Frankfurt to secure the signing of a new striker for next season.
According to reports emanating from Spain, Real Madrid has secured the signing of fast rising Frankfurt striker, Luka Jovic for a fee around the region of 60 million euros.
The 21-year-old Serbian is expceted to become Zidane’s second signing in his second spell as Real’s manager, months after the capturing of Militão was announced.
Details of the transfer shows that Frankfurt will be receiving 80% of Jovic’s transfer fee, while Benfica will be getting about 12 million Euros, for having 20% stake on future transfer fee involving the sale of Jovic.
The Frankfurt marksman who took the 2018/2019 season by storm has contributed to 33 goals in 44 games this season (netting 26 times) will be putting pen to a 6 years deal at Santiago Bernabeu.
Jovic’s 17 Bundesliga goals (just 4 behind top scorer, Lewandowski) has seen Frankfurt climb into fourth position in the German league. He has also netted 9 times in the Europa League (one goal behind Giroud and Ben Yedder), helping his club to Semi final place. The pinpoint man scored the opening goal when Frankfurt squared against Chelsea in the first leg of Europa league semi final fixture.
