Ever since the news of Nigerian musician, Rema death broke, fear and panic have spread among his fans and lovers of music generally.

The teenage musician and rapper death rumor started after Wikipedia have written on his biography that the was found dead in his apartment in Lagos at 12.00 am on Saturday, February 1st.

This same Wikipedia has been edited back to normal, which means the site might have been hacked or someone was playing a prank on Nigerians.

Early life and career
The singer was born in the year 2000 into a Christian family in Benin City, Edo State. Rema grew up singing and rapping while in secondary school. He attained his primary and secondary school education in Edo State.
Rema signed a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records in 2019.
He released his eponymous debut EP Rema in 2019. It peaked at number 1 on Apple Music Nigeria.
Awards
On 19 October 2019, Rema won Next Rated and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies. On the 12th of January 2020, he received the Souncity MVP for the best new artist.
On the 22nd of March, 2019, Don Jazzy, the CEO of Nigerian top music record label, the Supreme Mavin Dynasty unveiled a new artist, Rema.
Rema is the first artist the label is unveiling after their multimillion-dollar investment with the Kubanda holdings and he already has two songs to his credit under the label – ‘Iron Man‘ and ‘Dumebi‘.
