Hey guys!!, we are back again with the review of the second episode of the Mercy and Ike show which was aired last Sunday. Now let’s get into some things!!!!!!.

This episode hatched into life with Ike having a conversation with his cousin, Ikechukwu, about moving in with Mercy. He was seeking advice on how to go about it, as the issue of who will move into whose house was brought up. Although his cousin did try to talk him out of it, but it was very clear Ike wants to move in with his lover with or without his family’s consent.
The issue about them moving in together was really one of the highlights of this episode, we saw how the topic was brought up by Ike to his cousin, Ike to Mercy and then Mercy Dayan in some scenes shown in the episode.
Now my take; Personally, I don’t think that them moving in together is a good idea. I mean, I get that they are in love but the society we are in is against such practices. They believe a woman should not live with a man who is not her husband (but these lovers are going to do what they want to do anyway).
One of the most captivating scene of this episode was the moment Mercy confronted Ike about a certain ex or girlfriend of his, who resides in IMO state in the Eastern part of the country. This scene gave us the sense of trouble looming but sweet Ike was able to clear the air as it turned out that girl was one of the two girls who ushered him to a club appearance last December. (Mercy should not be scared about any Glory and Gloria in the first place, it is clear that Ike loves her).
My favorite moment of this episode is the house warming party. The electricity in the air was pulsating as we saw some former housemates as well as celebrities celebrating with Mercy as a new house owner in Lekki Lagos state. ( It is now very obvious that her house is not an audio house, which was one of the reasons she had the house warming in the first place).
I love the way Ike’s family seem to love Mercy, it feels like she is already part of the family and is treated with so much respect, they were present at the house warming and even came with a local dish – I am not even going to lie, I need inlaws like that, lol.
This episode was much more entertaining than the first one, it got better and I could not stop smiling the whole time I was watching. It was a very entertaining episode overall and I give it a 10/10 (yes, that’s how much I enjoyed this episode).
I can’t wait for the next episode, If only I had a time machine so we can get into the future now for episode three. See you next week.
Coming up – was I the only who noticed the conservation on the phone mentioning STD? What could this mean for episode 3! Does Ike have an STD? Oh dear!
What do you guys think?
