Rivers residents have taken to social media to demand for a return favor from Sokoto state Governor, after mile 3 market was destroyed by fire.
Some Landlords and business owners at Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3 in Port Harcourt are currently counting their loses after a ravaging fire destroyed over ten shops with goods worth millions of naira on Friday night.
Hitvibz gathered that the fire was caused by an electrical fault in one of the shops and the first fire service truck that arrived to battle the fire got handicapped as it’s water got finished.
Recall that last month, the Rivers state Governor – Nyesom Wike donated the sum of ₦500 million to support the Sokoto State Government in rebuilding the State Central Market ravaged by fire.
Rivers residents are now demanding for a return of the favor from governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, saying its pay back time.
