Rivers state government is looking set to open all markets in the state.
The state governor – Ezenwo Nyesom Wike stated this on his official Twitter page on Tuesday morning.
The governor charged customers to adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols and use face masks while in the market.
The governor wrote;
“We are set to open our markets in Rivers State. For the safety of Rivers people we would need the cooperation of market unions, traders and customers to adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols and use face masks while in the market.”

Meanwhile, the governor is yet to announce official date to open the markets.
