Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane both grabbed a brace as Jose Mourinho’s side – Tottenham humiliated Manchester United with a 6-1 victory during their Premier League game at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
Tottenham come from behind to hammer 10-man Manchester United 6-1 at full time.
Fernandes gave the hosts the lead two minutes in from the spot when he converted the penalty Martial won.
Two minutes later, Ndombele fired in the equalizer after a poor defending by United as Maguire just couldn’t head the ball clear.
Before Son added a second minutes later following a quickly taken free-kick by Harry Kane. De Gea rushed off his line and Son sent his shot around him and into the far side of the net.
Kane got Spurs’ third after a poor pass out from Bailly in his own box was intercepted by Kane. He manages to lay it off to Son who then plays the return into him and he picks out the bottom corner with his shot.
Son then doubled his tally off the game when he beat De Gea at his near post from close range. Another poor defending from United as Aurier squares his cross into the box, which took a deflection off Maguire.
Son makes a run to the near post and hits the shot first time, through De Gea’s legs and into the back of the net.
Aurier then makes it 5-1 as he was allowed a lot of space in the right of the box and Hojbjerg picks out his run this time. He fires his shot across goal and the ball nestles into the side netting.
Harry Kane then grabbed his second from a spot kick to complete the rout for the visitors.
He took a short run-up to the spot and fires his spot-kick to the goalkeeper’s right. De Gea goes the right way, but it sails over him and into the back of the net.
Jose Mourinho, obviously is the happy manager 😂😂 at the end of this one at Old Trafford.
