In the light of Nigerians returning back home from South Africa due to Xenophobic attacks, a video has surfaced on social media showing moments were South Africans embarked on a peaceful demonstration to plead with Nigerians and other African countries for forgiveness over the recent xenophobic attacks.
The Streets was filled today with South Africans singing as they marched with banners held up, with write ups calling for Unity among Africans while waving various African flags.
The march had white citizens of South Africa also holding placards singing Soweto songs of peace as they moved in their numbers along the streets.
This is coming weeks after attacks led by South Africans resulted in the destruction of properties worth millions and looted shops owned by foreigners.
President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday, the 15th of September, sent Special envoy to seven African countries with a solidarity message in good faith and efforts were being made by his Government to curb the attacks on foreigners.
