In his narrative, after the fight, the school authority elected a new SUG president who assured them of his willingness to serve, but turned out to be a cult member.
He further stated that the student’s parliament impeached him on Monday and that he will likely be rusticated by the school authorities, as news of his arrest has gone viral on social media platform.
The Polytechnic Deputy Registrar and Head of Public Relations, Sola Abiala in a statement, announced the suspension of Olatunji.
He further stated that the suspension of Olatunji is in line with the Polytechnic School establishment Act and that of the provisions of the students handbook which states the school’s zero tolerance for cultism.
Also Olatunji’s suspension stands pending his appearance before the students disciplinary committee who will finally establish his culpability of the offence or otherwise.
