The defender has decided to make a U-turn back to the club where he spent a successful season on loan in 2018/19, making 31 appearances.
Chelsea signed the defender in 2012 from Standard Liege and ever since, he has spent all his time on loan in Netherlands, Turkey, Spain and with Championship side Middlesbrough.
