After a controversial weekend, Rap and reggae singer, Cynthia Morgan, had with her former record label owned by Jude Okoye, the manager of the former boy group “Psquare” where she accused Jude of causing her downfall in the industry.
According to Cynthia Morgan during an Instagram live interview, reveal that Northside entertainment has refused her to used her stage “Cynthia Morgan” because it was included in the contract that the record label owns the name and that she is prohibited from using it.
Well, it turns out that she may not have been truthful when she said she can no longer use the name ‘Cynthia Morgan” after her contract surfaced online.
According to the document which speculated the terms and conditions of the said contract, there was no mention of the company being in charge of the stage name, the only time such a thing was mentioned was that her name and images would be used to promote her materials, such as her singles, albums, EPs, and possibly videos.
The contract proves that she had the exclusive rights to use her name all along, contrary to what she said in the Instagram Interview she had with Sandra.
