City will be looking to defend their title this season with changes to the side including the signing of Riyad Mahrez with Yaya Toure seeing out his contract. Manchester City are likely to hot up the Champions league this season and would need as much stars as they could to do that.

Manchester City boss won’t just stop at Mbappe. With Fernandinho and David Silva in their thirties, and Toure having left in the summer, he wants midfield reinforcements. To that end, he wants to be reunited with Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, who he managed both at Barcelona and in Germany.
