It was raining goals at Wembley stadium on Sunday as Tottenham stunned Leicester City, coming from 3-1 down to beat the Foxes 5-4 during their final Premier League game of the season.

Vardy with an early lead for Leicester, just 4 minutes on the clock. He glanced a delightful header in at the far post following an inch-perfect cross from Mahrez from a set piece! It was Walker-Peters who conceded the free-kick, and then the full-back who failed to mark the Leicester talisman as the cross was whipped in.

3 minutes later, Kane restored parity at Wembley. He sent forward into space after Simpson concedes possession, and the striker does so well to finish with his left foot in at the near post.

But their joy was short lived as Leicester took the lead again, 16 minutes into the game as Mahrez punished a lovely finish in at the far post after the ball fell kindly for him to hit following a soft touch from Walker-Peters.

47 minutes, Iheanacho made it 3-1 as he pounced on a poor defensive header from Dier and then fends off a challenge from Wanyama, before guiding a laser beam into the top corner from 25 yards. He smashed that into the back of the net on a rope! Lloris couldn’t get anywehre near it.

2 minutes later Spurs pulled one back. In his 25th Premier League appearance of the season, Lamela finally had his first goal. It was simple finish from close range on the end of Walker-Peters’ low cross, following a stunning passage of play from Spurs to make it 3-2.

From 3-1 down Tottenham incredibly restored parity. It was a head in hands moment for Fuchs who inadvertently turned Lamela’s deflected strike in at the near post, as he simply couldn’t react quick enough to get out of the way.

60 minutes, Spurs completed the turnaround from 3-1 down, they lead 4-3. A third goal in 10 minutes and a second for Lamela, who again has a simple finish from six yards on the end of a low cross from Walker-Peters! A horrible defensive touch from Gray in the build-up made that all possible.

Leicester equalized 13 minutes later, as a selfish bit of play from Kane sees Spurs squander a chance at one end, and Leicester break quickly the other way. Vardy gets on the end of the counter and smashes a finish into the roof of the net to even things up at 4-4.

76 minutes on the clock, Spurs took the lead again as as Kane finishes beautifully from just inside the penalty area, bending a finish in at the far post for his 30th Premier League goal of the season. It’s the first time he’s hit 30 in a league campaign.

At the other end Chelsea suffered a 3-0 defeat against Newcastle at St. James Park.

Gayle with a well deserved opener for Newcastle, just 23 minutes into the game. Ritchie picked out Murphy and his looping effort was parried away from the line by Courtois, only for Gayle to pop up and nod the ball into the net.

59 minutes on the clock, Newcastle doubled their lead. It was slightly against the run of play but Perez doubled Newcastle’s lead as Shelvey drilled the ball towards goal and the deftest of touches beats Courtois to make it 2-0.

4 minutes later, Perez scores again. Lejeune centres following a free-kick and Perez prods into the net. 3-0.
