Jamie Vardy and James Maddison were both on target to help Leicester City secure a 2-0 victory and compound Arsenal’s misery at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
Vardy broke the deadlock 68 minutes into the game to give Leicester the lead. A lovely move by the Foxes, with Pereira playing a quick cross to Barnes on the edge of the box, who then flicks it to Tielemans, who then lays it off to Vardy in the box, he then slides it past Leno and into the back of the net.

7 minutes later, Maddison doubled Leicester’s lead. This time Vardy turns provider, after Tielemans found the striker and it lays it back to Maddison on the edge of the box, who drills the ball through the legs of Bellerin and straight into the bottom left-hand corner of the net, with Leno not moving.

This victory moves Leicester up to second in the table, nine points ahead of the Gunners and level on points with Chelsea.
However, Manchester City would move back above them with a victory tomorrow.
Next up for the Foxes is a trip to Brighton in two weeks time after the international break while Arsenal remain sixth and they will hope to get back to winning ways next time out as they welcome Southampton to the Emirates.
