Troy Deeney goal from spot kick and Gerard Deulofeu double was all Watford needed to seal the Emirates FA Cup final spot.
Wolves broke the deadlock 36 minutes into the game after Doherty managed to get away from Doucoure at the back post after a short corner and gets on the end of Jota’s cross to head the ball past Gomes.
Jota received the short corner and quickly turned to cross for Doherty to head past Watford keeper, Gomes
62 minutes on the clock, Moutinho takes a free-kick 35 yards from goal and passed to Doherty, who was left in space and he crossed to Jimenez.
Jimenez controled the cross with his chest in a crowded penalty area. The ball comes down in front of him and the Mexico international volleys past Gomes.
79 minutes on, Watford pulled one back through Deulofeu, who controlled the ball on the left of the box after a long throw. He paused briefly before chipping the ball into the far corner.
90′ + 2′ minutes, Deeney beats Dendoncker to a cross from Doucoure and was brought down by the Wolves man. The referee immediately points to the spot.
Just 104 minutes into extra time, Watford takes the lead for the first time in the game.
This is the eighth FA Cup match between Watford and Wolves, with the Yellow Army winning just one of the seven previous encounters – a 3-0 victory in the fifth round in February 1980 and of course their second victory today.
