Mikel Arteta’s side has failed to secure a win for the second time in a roll, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa during their Premier League game at the Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
Ollie Watkins’ lone goal was all the host needed to secure all 3 points against Arsenal.
Villa goal came in just 2 minutes into the game as Cedric failed to deal with a direct ball forward and Traore picks up the pieces, bursting past the full-back to cross. It comes to Watkins in the box who scuffed shot beats Ryan.

Villa marshalled Arsenal well in this game. They’ve done a great job of defending the goal Watkins scored for them in the second minute.
The Gunners were unable to break the hosts down even though they managed to threaten Martinez many times.
Villa have gone on to win 11 of the 12 Premier League games this season in which they’ve scored the first goal even with a 3-0 against the Gunners at the Emirates back in November.

Arsenal, meanwhile, haven’t won any of their last 13 league games after trailing at half-time.
With the 3 points, Aston Villa remains in the hunt for a spot in Europe next season.
