ASUU has insisted that its members will not resume work if schools resume without the federal government meeting its demand.
ASUU Zonal Coordinator in Port Harcourt, Uzo Onyebinama at a media briefing yesterday said if the University Transparency and Accountability Solution UTAS which the union unveiled on August 17 as an alternative to IPPIS is not accepted, not even state universities will reopen.
He also said ASUU is talking with the Nigeria Labour Congress to join in demanding a better educational system.
The ASUU strike which started on March 17 has entered its 23rd week.
