Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has expressed delight over his team’s performance and victory over Wolves during their Premier League clash on Saturday.
The Blues secured a 5-2 win against Wolves with Tammy scoring his first hat-trick under the Blues’ shirt while Tomori and Mason Mount both grabbed goal a piece to make sure the victory and 3 points was sealed and assured.
While speaking to Chelsea TV, Lampard revealed that he gave Tammy opportunity to show himself simply because the youngster displayed enthusiasm and desire to be a striker that wants to score goals right from preseason.
The former Derby County manager added that Tammy’s statue, strength and pace is a huge pain for every defence which is a plus for the team.
According to the Blues Big boss, in order to maintain consistency in Premier League games, League cup and Champions League, he has to manage the team well.
