Crystal Palace on Sunday defeated Tottenham 2-0 during their FA Cup clash, thanks to goals from Townsend and Wickham, who scored his first goal since November 2016 after a long lay-off with a knee injury.
Palace opened scoring early into the game, with just 9 minutes on the clock. Gazzaniga punched Schlupp initial shot towards Wickham, who turn the ball into the empty net.
34 minutes on, Townsend doubled the lead for Palace. Walker-Peters jumped up to clear an incoming cross into the box but raised his hand higher than his head to touch the ball and the referee points straight to the spot.
