Crystal Palace on Sunday defeated Tottenham 2-0 during their FA Cup clash, thanks to goals from Townsend and Wickham, who scored his first goal since November 2016 after a long lay-off with a knee injury.
34 minutes on, Townsend doubled the lead for Palace. Walker-Peters jumped up to clear an incoming cross into the box but raised his hand higher than his head to touch the ball and the referee points straight to the spot.

Spurs had an opportunity to pull one back as they were awarded a penalty. Trippier stepped up to take it, he sliced the ball well wide of the left post.
Tottenham pushed harder towards the second half of the game but failed to make use of their opportunities as they suffered a second defeat in a roll.
Tottenham will be looking to win their fist game in three matches when they face Watford on Saturday 2nd February while Crystal Palace, who ranked 14th in EPL table will battle Southampton.
