Honorable Chisom Promise Dike, the Member Representing Eleme/Oyigbo/Tai at the House of Representatives says Governor Nyesom Wike’s administration is based on favouritism.
The rep member stated this in a meeting with his supporters on sunday where he also hinted about his desire to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over alleged poor treatment from the governor.
“We are leaving PDP for good. Let us leave it for them so they will enjoy every empowerment the governor has. I have been in PDP all these years and the governor said he does not know who I am, he does not know me from Adam. So what is he saying”?
Rep Chisom Dike added;
“He is telling you that if he doesn’t know me, he doesn’t know all of you that believe in me. He has chosen his own people and those are the people he is empowering so I think for our own good, we should leave and this is the right time to make this decision”.
Rep Dike said plans are underway to officially defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 5000 supporters.
“We are looking at moving with about 5,000 persons on that day. We need to tell the state and Oyigbo people that we are the ones that make things happen in this Local Government Area. Let us go and join our brothers in APC. All of us can collaborate together.”
