An elderly of woman of 118years old, Mrs. Omonigbalebo Dani Orogono, has been appointed as Special Adviser on Elders Matters in Kolokuma Opokuma Local Government Area in Bayelsa state and an appointment letter has been handed to her to that effect.
A twitter user identified as – @johnnysleek, shared the post of the elderly woman who was recently appointed Special Adviser on Elders Matters, with the picture of the old woman and her appointment letter as evidence.
The appointment letter which was issued with the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government letterhead paper of the office of the Vice Chairman, dated 4th of February, 2020 was signed by the P. A of the Vice Chairman KOLGA, Bedford Ineye.
The letter which had a heading; Offer of Provisional Appointment, states that the old woman Mrs. Orogono appointment should commence work with immediate effect and was also congratulated by the Vice Chairman of the L.G.A.
This has got social media users talking as some are of the opinion that she is so old and should have been placed on monthly stipend rather than stress the poor old woman, while some applauded it stating that only an old person will understand the plight of the elderly ones.
