In respect to the numerous donations from Nigerian billionaires to help strengthen the fight against coronavirus pandemic and cater for the poor masses in the country, social activists Reno Omokri has come out to blow his trumpet again.
The former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan gone to his social media platform (twitter) to criticize president Buhari’s government saying that the billions of donations made by prominent citizens in Nigeria cannot be trusted to his government.
He went on to blast Billionaires for donating money to Federal Government, saying that they should have sent it to Nigerians.
According to him, the money should have been given to any top commercial bank and say ‘pay ₦10k to 100,000 Nigerians with less than ₦10k in their accounts’.
Rone Omokri wrote on his page saying…
“Instead of billionaires donating moneys to the FG, they could have given it to any top commercial bank and say ‘pay N10k to 100,000 Nigerian with less than N10k in their accounts.’ You can’t trust donations to the government of General MBuhari.”

This would not be the first time the social activist is criticising the government of Mr. President.
