The development, Hitvibz gathered, is in response to the Indigenous People of Biafra’s Monday sit-at-home directive, and the need to cover the academic curriculum of schools in the state.

According to Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Don Adinuba, some other states like Enugu had adopted the measure.

Don Adinuba added that the idea is to ensure pupils and students learn as much as possible in a safe environment.
