According to reports, a large number of people have been killed after an explosion rocked an oil bunkering site in Rumuekpe, Emohua LGA, Rivers State.Many feared dead as explosion rock oil bunkering site in Rivers

Rivers State Police Command, confirmed the explosion at the crude oil extraction site in the Rumuekpe town of Rivers State’s Emouha local government area

Twelve people have been confirmed dead, according to a statement from the state police command on Friday.

According to sources, the explosion occurred at around two in the morning on Friday, March 3, 2023, when one of the buses carrying crude oil kicked off its engine to drive to another location where it would be refined in artisanal refineries.Many feared dead as explosion rock oil bunkering site in Rivers
