An eyewitness stated that the armed men arrived in the community early in the morning using a Siena bus and a motorbike.
The eyewitness mentioned that the armed men had informed members of the disbanded OSPAC about the attack.
The victims were identified as Endurance Nmekini, a member of EMOVIS, and two brothers named Onyema Kekwaru and Ejike Kekwaru, who were part of the disbanded OSPAC.
Additionally, two of the victims were reportedly beheaded, and their severed heads were taken to the market square.
The observer further noted that there has been no security presence in the community since the incident occurred the previous night.
As of now, the Rivers State Police command has not provided any comments regarding this incident.
