Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has joined the privileged group of musicians – Wizkid, Davido, CKay and Tems as the only Nigerian artists in history to set a new landmark in the US.
Burna Boy, a Nigerian megastar, has made another enormous step forward with the sale of his popular song Last Last surpassing one million units in the US.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the 31-year-old Nigerian musician, Wizkid, Davido, and CKay have all set a remarkable record in the US as the only Nigerian artists to sell over one million units in the country.
After its debut in August 2018, Burna Boy’s hit song “Last Last” acquired its Platinum certification in the US by the RIAA on Thursday, January 26, 2023, making him the most recent artist to do so.

In 2022, “Last Last” was made available as the lead single from Burna Boy’s sixth album, “Love, Damini.”
The song spent several weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 44, before going on to become an instant smash hit around the world.
After his 2018 mega song “YE,” “Last Last'” international success has seen it surpass a million units in sales in the United States, setting him for his second RIAA platinum award.
Recall that on May 3, 2021, his hit song “Ye” also earned a gold certification.

Along with CKay and Davido, Wizkid and Tems also achieved platinum certification for their mega single “Essence,” “Love Nwantiti,” and “Fall.”
