Following a whirlwind month of rapid-fire songs including “Susan’s Son,” “Bad Santa,” and “Cashed Out Stoner,” Australian rap sensation ChillinIt releases his highly-anticipated third album FAMILY TIES today.
FAMILY TIES is an enormous 21 track compilation of ChillinIt’s most introspective work to date, with an all-star lineup of Huskii, Dylan Frost, Lisi, Izzie Gibbs, Wombat, and production from frequent collaborator Badrapper and Chillinit’s brother bbrock.
FAMILY TIES is spearheaded by lead single Dreaming Of This Day, which was produced by two of Australia’s most accomplished producers, Styalz Fuego (Imagine Dragons, Troye Sivan, Khalid) and 18YOMAN, and debuted this week with a global billboard campaign in New York, Tokyo, London, Toronto, Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne (Kid Cudi, Lil Nas X, Cordae)

On FAMILY TIES, ChillinIt trades intricate NRL inspired bars with the pride of Goodna – Lisi on Run Up The Ball, bares his soul on the uncharacteristically soulful Inner Thoughts (Vulnerability), and goes toe-to-toe with close friend and collaborator Huskii on the vintage boom-bap energy of 420 & 210, complete with chorus scratches.
The One Night Only national tour, which runs from January to February 2022, is completely sold out.
He also announced his UK live debut on Saturday 7th May at London’s XOYO, as well as festival dates at Wildlands Brisbane, Lunar Festival across the country, and Lost & Found Townsville.
FAMILY TIES is a glimpse of ChillinIt’s emotional growth since his Gold certified debut Women, Weed & Wordplay in 2018. It follows his rapid, tumultuous rise to become one of Australia’s most successful and controversial rappers.
It proves to be his most intimate and insightful album yet, providing even more insight into the people who have been instrumental in ChillinIt’s meteoric rise to fame, and, at times, his survival.
ChillinIt is one of Australia’s most distinguished artists, with two double-platinum and eight gold certified singles under his belt.
ChillinIt has gone from an underground sensation to a household brand in the three years since his debut album, with over 220 million Spotify streams to date.
ChillinIt sold nearly 20,000 tickets in support of his sophomore chart-topping album The Octagon, making it one of the biggest headline tours in Australia in 2021. Over
