While preaching during the November 2021 Thanksgiving Service streamed on the church’s official TV station – Dove TV, Pastor Adeboye asked his congregation β€œHow are you sure there will be Nigeria in 2023?”

The Man of God, who captioned his sermon, β€œGreat Expectations”, went on to charge his church members to keep praying for the country, so their expectations won’t be cut short.

Recall that in May 2019, Pastor Adeboye warned Nigerian government to urgently put a stop to the unending killings in different parts of the country, stressing that Nigeria as it is presently constituted may cease to exist if the murderous attacks continue.
