The recently appointed Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has taken a strong stance in shaping the future of Abuja by putting an end to Street trading.
After a three-month suspension, the Rivers State Taskforce on Illegal Street Trading and Motor Parks said it will start operations today, Monday, May 22.
About five members of the Rivers State Task Force on Illegal Motor Parks and Street Trading were wounded on Thursday morning and are in hospital after they clashed with some hoodlums at the now demolished Trans-Amadi Slaughter Market in Port Harcourt.
