Many Nigerians are criticising Rivers state governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike after he indicated interest to run for office of the President of Nigeria under the Peoples Democratic Party platform (PDP).

Rivers state Governor, Wike has put the blame of 2015 defeat to APC on those PDP presidential aspirants who have expressed their desire to run for the party’s ticket in 2023.

Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the governor of Rivers state, has declared that if he is elected president in 2023, his top goal will be to address the country’s growing insecurity and promote the rule of law.
