In a dramatic session, the party presented ten witnesses to support its claims.

During the resumed hearing, the tribunal heard crucial testimony from Moses Salvation, a state collation officer who was subpoenaed as the tenth witness.

Salvation revealed startling information that raised eyebrows among those present. He stated that various ballot papers originating from Akwa Ibom State were discovered in Ward 19 of Kana Local Government Area.

Under cross-examination, Salvation confirmed that collation agents were indeed obstructed from carrying out their electoral duties.

Despite the challenges, he managed to visit several local governments and obtained reports from other areas.

Following the intense cross-examination, Abiodun Owonikoko, the counsel representing the Accord Party, announced that they were formally closing their case.

The decision left many speculating about the impact of this development on the overall outcome of the election tribunal.

Justice Cletus Emifoniye, the Chairman of the tribunal, adjourned the proceedings to Monday, August 7, to allow the defense to present their case.
