A trailer transporting industrial container reportedly fell under Eliozu Flyover, damaging some sections of the road and blocking access to Rukpokwu/Airforce axis of the GU Ake Road in Port Harcourt, the River state capital.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred around midnight after a loud noise was heard, alerting many residents in the area, leaving most of them scared that it may be a petrol tanker.
While Police report disclosed that the container falls under Eliozu flyover was caused by recklessness of the driver.
Hitvibz gathered that the driver of the trailer and two passengers who accompanied him sustained minor injuries and were quickly taken away by a team of police officers stationed by the Eliozu Flyover.
As at early this morning, traffic police and personnel of the Rivers State Task Force were spotted trying to manage the situation as well as redirect traffic from were the container falls under Eliozu flyover.
