Genevieve Nnaji, a multi-award-winning Nollywood actress, recently said that ego is a disease and advised her followers to “reduce their ego.”
Ego is a disease

She referred to excessive ego as an illness.

In an Instagram story post, the well-known actress described ego as an illness that can only be cured by love.

Those seeking love, according to the 42-year-old actress, must first learn to love themselves, because only then would they be able to attract love.

She wrote:

Ego is the disease. Love is the cure. Charity begins at home; so begin by loving yourself. Do what you must to get help and heal. When you learn to love yourself, that is what you will receive. The mirror will only project what it is shown.”
