Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has urged the Wailing Women World Wide to go extra miles in their prayers for the oil wealth state.

The governor stated this during the grand commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Wailing Women World Wide at the esteemed City of Refuge in Abara Etche.
Addressing the attendees at the 23rd International Women’s Prayer and Leadership Conference, Governor Fubara conveyed his appreciation through Deputy Governor Professor Ngozi Nma Odu.
Fubara lauded the fervent efforts of the Wailing Women World Wide in spreading the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ far beyond Nigerian borders.
He emphasized the significance of unceasing prayer as enjoined by Our Lord Jesus Christ, and extolled the unwavering dedication of the Wailing Women Worldwide, also recognized as Women Intercessors for the Church and the Nations, in fulfilling this divine mandate.
“They have prayed beyond their households, beyond their cities, beyond over one hundred their States, they have spread their tentacles to countries in the World and still counting“. Governor Fubara stressed.
Governor Fubara underscored the providential selection of the City of Refuge in Abara Etche, highlighting its pivotal role as a sanctuary for Christians worldwide.
He implored the Wailing Women to direct their prayers towards the betterment of Rivers State.
“I urge you to continue to uphold the Government of Rivers State in your prayers even as you uphold the Government of all nations, but because the City of Refuge is here go the extra mile, and pray for us that God will give us Devine direction in everything we do and in every the decision we take,” the governor added
The commemorative event was marked by profound spiritual revelations, exuberant prayers, and heartwarming expressions of faith.
