One Eugene Kashite, an Airforce official has allegedly been killed by an OSPAC member named Tuface, At Omuanwa community in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State.

The incident, which happened on Tuesday, sparked unrest in the neighbourhood, prompting several residents to flee.

According to sources, the suspect shot the deceased after he went to their base to demand the release of his younger brother, who had been arrested by them.

That came after the officer’s brother and a group of teenagers in the neighbourhood were reportedly arrested for refusing to take an oath against cult participation and criminal activity.

They claimed that when the Airforce official arrived, a scuffle broke out and he was shot dead by Tuface, who is now on the run.

As at the time of reporting this news, the police had yet to confirm the event.
