Just In: Legendary actor and Nollywood star – Obinna Nwafor, better known by his stage name “Saint Obi” has reportedly passed away following a brief illness.
According to reports, the incident took place on Monday, May 7, 2023. After spending months traveling to the hospital to receive medical care of an unknown disease, he apparently passed suddenly.
Blogger Moji Delano reported that a source revealed that the actor, who he had met a few times and recognized as Saint Obi, had passed away and that his body had been sent to the JUTH morgue the following day.
This sad incident came after paying a visit to his sister’s residence in Jos.
Saint Obi, who is usually seen being driven to the hospital, is claimed to have moved in just recently to his sister’s house in Jos, the Plateau State’s capital.
A source at JUTH also stated that Mr. Saint Obi had been seen frequently in the hospital.
Before his death, the legendary Nollywood actor from Imo state appeared in more than 100 motion pictures.
