Rising afro-fusion artist Khaid is starting 2024 with a bang, collaborating with Ghanaian songstress Gyakie on the brand new single “Run Away.“
The song explores a heartfelt story of love, with Khaid pleading with his love not to leave and promising to give her the world, while Gyakie offers the female perspective on the complexities of love, Hitvibz reports.

Released just in time for Valentine’s Day, “Run Away” is a beautifully written and passionately delivered track that takes listeners on an emotional journey.

Khaid, who rose to fame with his hit single “With You,” is already considered a rising star in the industry.

At the age of twelve, Khaid began to develop his musical skills by making freestyle movies and giving street performances in Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Sydney Talker, the founder of Neville Records and one of Nigeria’s most prominent content providers, made the discovery of him there.
With over 80 million streams across platforms and a promising discography at just 18 years old, Khaid is definitely one to watch.
