One of Governor Nyesom Wike’s 100,000 Special Advisers has sworn allegiance to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, for the upcoming 2023 general election.
The SA to Governor Wike reaffirmed his commitment to working to guarantee the victory of the Labour party’s presidential candidate and to see that he is chosen as the country’s leader following the upcoming elections.
Samuel George, the newly appointed SA to Wike, said that he is a card-carrying member of the PDP, ward Exco, but asserted that he is devoted to his conscience before any specific individual or political party.
Samuel George went on to say that he would prefer to resign his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) than support Atiku or Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Yes I’m an executive member of my ward in Rivers PDP! Yes I am one of the over 100,000 SA’s to the Governor on PU matters. But you see, am loyal to my conscience first before any individual or political party. I have confidence in my believe that a new Nigeria is #POsible.” – he wrote on his twitter page.

Samuel George emphasized that there was no directive to vote for Bola Tinubu of the APC, despite rumors that the governor of Rivers state had told people of the state to do so.
We can pull our people out of poverty. We must move Nigeria from consumption to production to do so. -PO #POatEcumenicalCentre
